Fans around the world are celebrating the first anniversary of “MUSE”, JIMIN of BTS’s second solo album, with special events and charitable initiatives.
On the occasion of the album’s first anniversary, JIMIN’s global fanbase expressed their joy through a wide range of actions, including donations, awareness campaigns, and even animal adoptions.
JIMIN’s largest international fanbase, “지민데이터 (PJM_data)”, marked the milestone with a symbolic project: capturing an image of SpaceX’s Transporter-12 satellite as it passed over Yongsan, Seoul, JIMIN’s hometown and also the location of HYBE’s headquarters, as a way to archive the moment in tribute to “MUSE”’s release.
In addition, the fanbase adopted a blue whale through the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) in JIMIN’s name, a symbolic gesture in support of endangered species conservation. This act of kindness touched fans deeply across the globe.
In South Korea, the fanbase “ALLFORJIMIN_KOR” set up an advertisement near the taxi stand in front of HYBE’s headquarters, running from July 10 to August 9. In Japan, “PARKJIMINJAPAN” aired a digital billboard on July 19 at Dotonbori Station in Osaka, featuring “Who”, the title track of “MUiSE”, as background music, drawing the attention of many passersby.
Tributes also emerged across Latin America. In Argentina, a large outdoor billboard was installed in Barrio Chino, Buenos Aires, while in Peru, a giant screen played tribute messages along a busy avenue in Lima. Meanwhile, in Russia, the fanbase RU_PJMs made a donation to Tiger House, a sanctuary supporting the rehabilitation of big cats like tigers.
In Colombia, fanbase “PJiminColombia” contributed to the K-Heart Seniors: Aula Dorada de Halluy Colombia program, which provides care kits to senior citizens in efforts to support their holistic well-being.
On July 19 (KST), the hashtag #지민_뮤즈_1주년축하해 (“Congratulations on 1 Year of MUSE, Jimin”) reached #1 in South Korea’s real-time trends on X (formerly Twitter). Other hashtags such as #1YearWithWho, #1YearWithMUSE, and HEARTS WAITING FOR JIMIN also trended globally—demonstrating the unwavering love and support from fans celebrating this special anniversary.
