N.TOP
A new six-member boy band named N.TOP will make its debut on August 6, the group’s agency Naturally Music announced Thursday.

The group consists of SEUNGHYUN, CHAEMIN, MINSEO, HEEWOO, HYUNWOONG, and KANGHYUN. According to Naturally Music, N.TOP has already undergone several months of pre-debut promotions, during which the group showcased refined performances and strong live vocals.
The name N.TOP signifies the group’s aim to be “on top” across multiple fields, reflecting their ambition to establish themselves in various areas of the entertainment industry, the agency said.
Leader SEUNGHYUN took part in composing and writing the lyrics for all the tracks on their debut EP album titled “WE:DISCONNECT”, which spans from refreshing pop sounds to grittier hip-hop elements.
Both SEUNGHYUN and main dancer CHAEMIN contributed to the choreography for the title track and B-side songs, while the other members played a role in shaping the overall concept and planning of the album, according to Naturally Music.
Among the group’s members, fans may recognize SEUNGHYUN, who was previously part of JWIIVER and CELESTA after appearing on the survival show “Mixnine”. MINSEO and KANGHYUN also have experience from survival programs, MINSEO having competed on “Produce X 101“ and “Loud”, and KANGHYUN on “Debut’s Plan: New Kids”.
“WE:DISCONNECT” marks the first chapter in a planned trilogy. The EP album tells a story that begins with a forced landing in an unfamiliar place, follows a journey of resilience through adversity, and culminates in the first steps toward a shared dream, according to the agency.
