YOUNG POSSE, the girl group under DSP Media, shook up social media on July 23 with a series of posts signaling the start of its comeback promotions for its brand-new EP album, “Growing Pain pt.1 : FREE.“
The group shared three separate posts on its official accounts. The first features a group photo of all five members in a bold, urban streetwear look. Printed in vivid red on their pants are the words “FREESTYLE” and “YPS (Young PoSse)”, a clear nod to the title of their upcoming release.
Then came unit photos, first, a powerful shot of SUNHYE and JIANA, two standout members, striking confident poses. Next, the unit of YEONJUNG, DOEUN, and JIEUN completes this first wave of teaser content with equally bold visuals.
This new EP marks the beginning of a fresh musical series titled “Growing Pain,” which seems to explore the emotional struggles and challenges of growth, whether artistic, personal, or generational. The word “FREE” in the title suggests a search for freedom, self-expression, and identity, concepts already reflected in the members’ relaxed, rebellious fashion.
