YVES reveals her EP album tracklist in a unique way.

On July 23, 2025 at 9 PM KST, YVES, former member of the group LOONA, shared an animated video/image teasing her next release. Her agency, PAIX PER MIL, posted the intriguing clip on social media, unveiling the tracklist of her third EP album, titled “SOFT ERROR”, set to drop on August 7, 2025.

The video features an aesthetic that’s both futuristic and intimate, staying true to the distinctive world YVES has crafted since going solo. The animated sequence reveals the six track titles from the album:
-
White cat
-
Soap (Feat. PinkPantheress)
-
Aibo (Feat. Bratty)
-
Do you feel it like I touch
-
Study
-
Mom
The titles appear in brightly colored boxes reminiscent of Ishihara color vision tests, typically used to detect color blindness. This artistic direction plays with visual perception, subjectivity, and perhaps even themes of memory and identity.
A prompt shown in the video, “Type the first song you see”, invites fans to take part in an interactive and sensory experience, going beyond traditional album teasing.
This new EP marks a significant chapter in YVES’s solo journey. Having moved away from the conventional idol image, she continues to embrace a hybrid artistic identity, blending indie pop, electronic experimentation, and global influences.
Notably, two international collaborations appear on the tracklist:
-
PinkPantheress, a British artist known for her hyperpop/UK garage sound, features on “Soap”
-
Bratty, an indie singer from Mexico, joins YVES on “Aibo”
These collaborations reflect YVES’s bold musical ambition, as she effortlessly bridges cultures and genres.
Since the end of the LOONA project and her solo debut, YVES has consistently defied expectations. Known for her charisma, artistic sensitivity, and affinity for bold concepts, she has carved out a unique space in the Korean music scene.
With “SOFT ERROR”, she seems ready to explore emotional glitches, identity cracks, and the “bugs” that come with existing in a hyper-connected, sensory-overloaded world.
Expectations for this comeback are high, and the artistic direction hints at something deep, intimate, and refreshingly original. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the upcoming teasers and full track previews leading up to the release of the EP.
YVES is back, and she’s not done breaking the mold.
