The new global girl group CRAZANGEL, featuring its Hong Kong member SHANNIE, has won the hearts of fans.

On July 25, CRAZANGEL (consisting of Solmie, Daze, Shannie, and Ahon) appeared on the ENA show “K-Pop-Up Chart Show”, where they performed their debut single “I’M JUST ME.”
“I’m just me” is a song inspired by the classic “Anne of Green Gables (빨간머리 앤)”, and it encapsulates the unique charm of CRAZANGEL. The track delivers a positive message about boldly expressing one’s own individuality and uniqueness. Member SHANNIE personally wrote the rap lyrics, further amplifying the group’s distinct identity.
That day, CRAZANGEL captured attention with a strong live performance, with all members using handheld microphones. Their unique vocal styles, catchy choreography, and chic attitude captivated the audience both visually and aurally.
In particular, SHANNIE, the group’s Hong Kong member, stood out. She delivered her self-written rap with skill and stage presence that belied her rookie status, showcasing expressive facial gestures and polished performance skills. Her bright red hair, reminiscent of Anne, the story’s heroine, and confident energy left a lasting impression.
SHANNIE’s personal journey closely mirrors the theme of “I’m just me.” Having come to Korea to study K-pop out of genuine passion for the genre, she is currently training in the field while pursuing her dreams. Much like Anne, SHANNIE exudes vibrant energy both on stage and in daily life, crossing cultural boundaries and fully embracing her individuality.
Additionally, SHANNIE is a true “language genius,” fluent in Korean, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and even Indonesian, allowing her to serve as a vital link between CRAZANGEL and their global fanbase.
For reference, CRAZANGEL officially debuted on July 10 with their first single “I’m just me,” positioning themselves as an all-rounder six-faceted girl group. Since then, they have been appearing on various music and radio programs, delivering high-quality live performances. Their “I’m just me” dance challenge is also gaining global popularity.
