EPEX is making its comeback today (July 28), embodying the very essence of youth.
The group’s third full-length album, “Prelude of Youth Chapter 3: Romantic Youth (소화(韶華) 3장 : 낭만 청춘)”, will be released at 6 PM (KST) today. It follows the trilogy that began with “Prelude of Youth Chapter 1: Youth Days“ in April 2024 and continued with “Chapter 2: Youth Deficiency“ in November.
With this final installment, EPEX brings the youth-themed trilogy to a close, portraying the complete acceptance of personal shortcomings and the awakening that leads to a unique romanticism inherent to this stage of life.
The new title track, “눈물나게 고마워” (Thank you for making me cry), conveys a mature attitude toward parting through its lyrics, allowing listeners to experience the group’s delicate and emotional vocals.
This track particularly captures EPEX’s signature freshness. In the music video for “눈물나게 고마워”, the group expresses raw, heartfelt emotions reminiscent of a summer rain.
The album includes eight tracks in total, including the pre-released single “Picasso”, as well as “아무 일도 없었다”, “낭만 터지는”, “플루토” , “늑대와 춤을”, “별 헤는 밤”, and “고래낙하”.
EPEX will also hold their third solo fan concert tour, “ROMANTIC YOUTH,” on August 23 and 24 at the KBS Arena in Gangseo, Seoul, followed by a show in Tokyo at Zepp DiverCity on August 26.
