MONSTA X, now fully reunited, will reconnect with fans through a pre-release track ahead of its upcoming album.

On August 5, Starship Entertainment revealed the promotional schedule for MONSTA X’s new mini album titled “THE X” via the group’s official social media accounts. Shared in the form of a promotional brochure, the poster outlines a detailed calendar of upcoming teaser content.
The tracklist will be revealed on August 8, followed by concept photos for the “UNKNOWN X” version on August 10, and “HELLO X” on August 12. The music video teaser for the pre-release track drops on August 16, with the full audio set to release on August 18. A performance video of the same song will follow on August 21, continuing a series of diverse content releases.
With this pre-release track, MONSTA X officially kicks off its comeback. More teaser content will follow, including concept photos for “UNDERDOG X” on August 23, and “XX” on August 25. The teaser for the title track’s music video will be released on August 30, followed by a full album preview on August 31. At the bottom of the poster, the phrase “REMIX DROPS SOON!” sparked excitement among fans.
In addition to the schedule, Starship Entertainment also surprised fans by releasing the trailer for the new album “THE X.” Visually inspired by classical Korean artwork, the trailer blends elegant aesthetics with MONSTA X’s intense aura, leaving a lasting impression. At the end of the video, I.M delivers a heartfelt English narration: “Ten years is not the end, but a new beginning,” adding an emotional layer to the teaser.
Scheduled for release on September 1, “THE X” is a symbolic project that captures MONSTA X’s ten-year journey. The album title represents “the one complete unknown,” while also hinting at countless new possibilities and directions. The letter “X” also signifies the Roman numeral for 10, marking the group’s 10th anniversary.
MONSTA X will officially make their comeback on September 1 at 6PM (KST) with the release of “THE X”, ushering in a brand new chapter.
