All members of CORTIS participated in producing their debut album.
On August 10, CORTIS revealed the tracklist of their first album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES through a video released on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel.
This new album includes a total of five songs: the title track “What you want,” as well as “GO!”, “FaSHioN,” “Lullaby,” and “JoyRide.” Notably for a debut album, all members are credited.
The title track “What you want” is a song that combines a boom bap rhythm with psychedelic rock guitar riffs popularized in the 1960s. The choice of this experimental genre, rare for a K-pop group, sparks curiosity.
The intro track “GO!” stands out for its originality, sitting on the border between hip-hop and pop. All members are credited. The intriguingly titled “FaSHioN” was co-written by MARTIN, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO.
CORTIS’s first album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES will be officially released on September 8 at 6 PM KST. Ahead of that, the title track “What you want” will be available digitally on August 18 at 6 PM KST.
Additionally, CORTIS will fully reveal their image through the music video for the intro track “GO!”, which will be released on August 11 at midnight KST.
