The “all-around rookie” group USPEER (유스피어) proved its presence.
USPEER (Yewon, Soee, Sian, Seoyu, Daon, Chaena, Roa) appeared on August 9 on the program 2025 NOL Festival: SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer (hereafter SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer).
SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer is a major festival that brings together top-tier K-pop artists in Korea. USPEER, joining the lineup just two months after their debut, solidified their status as “leaders of the 5th generation.”
On that day, USPEER drew attention from the moment they stepped on stage, dressed in dazzling pearl-adorned outfits in coordinated shades of white and blue.
In particular, for this edition of Gayo Daejeon, USPEER prepared a special dance break, captivating the audience with an intense performance. Despite it being their first time on a large-scale stage, the group showcased overwhelming power and energy, displaying a commanding stage presence and filling every inch of the platform.
USPEER officially kicked off their journey in the music industry on June 4 with the release of their first single album SPEED ZONE.
With “SPEED ZONE”, the group ranked high on Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart’s weekly album sales charts in their very first week. At that time, USPEER was the only girl group in the Hanteo Chart Top 5. Their title track “Zoom” was also nominated for first place on multiple Korean music shows, and their SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer performance once again etched in the minds of global music fans the image of an all-around rookie group.
Furthermore, after proving its capabilities at SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, anticipation is growing for USPEER’s future activities.
