BLACKPINK member LISA is capturing the attention of fans worldwide with a special short film.

On August 14 at noon KST, she released the short film for the song “Dream” from her first studio album “ALTER EGO” on LLOUD Company’s official social media channels.
The short film features Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, who appears alongside LISA, creating captivating on-screen chemistry. LISA reflects on bittersweet memories with Sakaguchi, who plays a former lover, while showcasing her striking visual presence.
Exploring the themes of love and loss in a cinematic way, the film also highlights LISA’s acting skills. She portrays both passionate, romantic moments and deep sorrow, presenting a side of herself never seen before.
Recently, LISA was nominated for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) for Best K-Pop for the third time with her February release “Born again”, a collaboration with Doja Cat and RAYE.
LISA has already won the Best K-Pop VMA twice: first in 2022 for “Lalisa”, and then for “Rockstar”, making her the first K-pop solo artist to win the award and the first to win it twice.
Her first studio album “ALTER EGO”, released earlier in 2025, was an immediate success, ranking #1 on the Top Album Sales chart and #7 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. Rolling Stone praised her versatility and acting talent, noting that the album marks a promising first step for her solo career.
LISA continues to perform on global stages, including her solo debut at the Coachella Sahara Stage in April, where she delivered a powerful performance. She also made her acting debut in the Emmy-nominated HBO series “The White Lotus”, playing a hotel staff member.
Meanwhile, LISA is currently on the BLACKPINK World Tour “DEADLINE”, with all dates completely sold out.
