CHOI JUNG WON
Actor CHOI JUNG WON, former member of the group UN, has been subject to emergency measures following harassment allegations.

According to an SBS report on August 19, the Seoul Central District Police began investigating CHOI JUNG WON on August 16, suspecting him of harassing a woman he knew, including visiting her home while carrying a bladed weapon.
The Seoul Central District Court approved emergency measures on August 18, stating that “they were necessary to prevent further harassment and repetition of such acts in an urgent situation.”
These emergency measures include a restraining order preventing the offender from approaching the victim closer than 100 meters, as well as a ban on any contact via cellphone or other telecommunication methods. Violating these terms could lead to up to one year in prison or a fine of up to 10 million won.
Previously, CHOI JUNG WON had already faced legal action after being accused of adultery with a married woman he knew, earning the label “the adulterous man.”
However, CHOI JUNG WON denied the accusations, claiming he was “used in the divorce process of couple A,” and filed a complaint with the police himself for threats, defamation, insults, and incitement to defamation, continuing his legal battle.
