The hype surrounding the Netflix animated film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” has reached the U.S. Billboard charts.

On August 27, Billboard reported that the original soundtrack (OST) for “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS”, “Golden”, reclaimed the number one spot, moving up one rank from the previous week. This marks the second non-consecutive week the song has topped the chart.
Other OST tracks also charted highly: “Your idol” at #4, “Soda pop” at #5, “How it’s done” at #10, “What it sounds like“ at #20, “Free” at #23, and “Takedown” at #25. A version of “Takedown” featuring TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung reached #53.
K-pop artists continue to shine on the charts. Rosé’s global hit “APT.” ranks #42, extending its consecutive chart presence to 44 weeks. BLACKPINK’s new single “Jump” is at #74. TWICE’s “Strategy” (#57) and HYBE’s global girl group KATSEYE with “Gabriela” (#72) each set their personal best chart positions.
