SAN, a member of the boy group ATEEZ, will be appearing on Mnet’s “Boys 2 Planet” as the new “Planet Master.”
According to the production team of “Boys 2 Planet” on August 27, SAN will join the August 28 broadcast as the “Planet Master” and meet the 48 contestants competing for their debut. He will also serve as MC during the show’s second survival announcement ceremony.
Previously, Ong Seong-wu, a former member of WANNA ONE, and Jo Yuri, a former member of IZ*ONE, held the role of “Planet Master” and supported the contestants’ growth. SAN has now been selected as the third “Planet Master.”
The production team stated, “Drawing on his experience from global activities, including a world tour, as well as his participation in survival programs, SAN will provide heartfelt advice and encouragement to the contestants,” expressing their expectations.

Meanwhile, “Boys 2 Planet” will announce the 24 contestants advancing to the semifinals during the second survival announcement. The results of the third global vote, which closes on August 29 at 10 a.m. KST, will determine 23 of the survivors. The final spot will be decided through a live vote during the second survival announcement, broadcast on Mnet Plus the same day at 3 p.m. KST.
