MELOMANCE’s song in the Netflix animated film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” is achieving huge success.

On August 29, their agency Abyss Company announced that MELOMANCE’s signature track, “사랑인가 봐 (Love, Maybe),” is once again receiving enthusiastic global fan response, proving the power of K-OSTs.
The song was featured in the globally popular Netflix film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” and became a representative K-pop hit. In the scene where the main characters RUMI and JINWOO meet, “Love, Maybe” enhances the moment with its lyrical melody and warm lyrics, deeply touching international audiences.
Written by KIM MIN SEOK and composed by MELOMANCE, “Love, Maybe” is a medium-tempo love ballad originally released in 2022 as part of the drama “Business Proposal” OST. Since its release, it has consistently ranked high on Korean charts, including Melon, establishing itself as an iconic soundtrack.
Since the film’s release, the track has also gained international success. Included on the album “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film), it entered the US Spotify daily chart at #197 (as of August 24) and regularly exceeds 700,000 daily streams (as of August 26). Last month, it surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify, confirming its popularity among global listeners.
In Korea, the original track continues to perform strongly, climbing the charts. On the Melon TOP100, it recently ranked #74 (as of August 28) and also appears in the top 100 real-time charts on other platforms like Genie and Bugs, solidifying its status as a timeless and essential OST.
“KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” is a hybrid action-musical animation that tells the story of the K-pop girl group HUNTR/X (Rumi, Mira, and Zoey), who act as heroes protecting the world off-stage.
