STRAY KIDS achieves the title of “Top First-Day K-pop Album Sales in 2025.”
According to Hanteo Chart, STRAY KIDS’ new studio album “KARMA” sold over 2 million copies on its release day, August 22.
During the following week, the album reached around 3.03 million sales, becoming the only album in 2025 to surpass 3 million copies in its first week.
The album topped Hanteo Chart’s weekly physical album chart as well as Circle Chart’s weekly retail album chart, and later claimed first place on Circle Chart’s weekly album chart.
Internationally, “KARMA” has also achieved major success. On Spotify, it set the 2025 record for first-day and first-week streams for a K-pop group, while the title track “Ceremony” became the most streamed first-week song for a K-pop boy group in 2025. The album also reached 6th place on the UK Official Trending Chart, signaling new milestones for the group.
