The soundtrack of the Netflix animation “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS,” titled “Golden,” has held the top spot on the UK Official Singles Chart for five consecutive weeks.

According to the September 5 (local time) announcement by the Official Charts, “Golden” maintained its No. 1 position from the previous week. The song is performed in the film by the fictional girl group HUNTR/X. It was composed and sung by EJae (a former SM Entertainment trainee composer), along with artists Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. All three share Korean-American heritage.
After debuting on the chart at No. 93, “Golden” climbed impressively: 31 → 20 → 9 → 4 → 1 → 2 → 1, showcasing remarkable momentum. In the U.S., it also topped the Billboard Hot 100 three times, making waves simultaneously across both major charts.
The OST’s dominance doesn’t stop there. In the animation, the rival fictional boy group SAJA BOYS placed “Soda pop” at No. 5 and “Your idol” at No. 8. Meanwhile, JEONGYEON, JIHYO, and CHAEYOUNG of TWICE featured on “Takedown,” which landed at No. 24.
Other major K-pop acts also appeared on the chart: TWICE with “Strategy” (No. 32), BLACKPINK with “뛰어 (Jump)” (No. 34), Rosé with “APT.” (No. 51), and STRAY KIDS with “Ceremony” (No. 87).
