Written by JUNGKOOK in 2022 as a tribute to his fans, “My you” has now surpassed 150 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform. Without any official promotion or marketing campaign, the track has resonated solely through its music, continuing to be chosen by listeners worldwide.
“My you” is a self-produced track in which JUNGKOOK participated in the production, songwriting, and composition. Released as a gift to fans in celebration of BTS’s 9th debut anniversary, the song combines a gentle melody with guitar chords and JUNGKOOK’s signature clear, captivating vocals, offering listeners both warmth and comfort.
With this milestone, JUNGKOOK now has 15 songs on his personal Spotify account that have each surpassed 150 million streams. These include “Seven”, “3D”, “Standing next to you”, “Yes or no”, “Please don’t change”, “Hate you”, “Left and right”, “Too much”, “Stay alive”, “Dreamers”, “Still with you”, “Never let go”, “Closer to you”, and “Somebody”. Adding BTS tracks he contributed to, “Euphoria”, “My time (시차)”, and “Begin”, brings the total to 18 songs surpassing 100 million streams.

With his solo track “Still with you,” JUNGKOOK also reached 350 million streams on Spotify, once again proving his standing as a leading global singer-songwriter. The “My you” video, released on BTS’s official YouTube channel BangtanTV, has also surpassed 43.9 million views, continuing its explosive popularity.
In addition, JUNGKOOK has become the first K-pop soloist and the fastest Asian artist to reach 9.5 billion cumulative streams on Spotify. His debut solo single “SEVEN,” released in July 2023, set a historic record by staying on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart for 111 consecutive weeks, the longest streak ever for an Asian solo artist. His first solo album, “GOLDEN,” released in November of the same year, has also maintained massive success, staying on the Global Weekly Albums chart for 95 consecutive weeks, another record for an Asian solo artist.
