SEVENTEEN - WONWOO
WOOZI, member of the group SEVENTEEN, is fulfilling his mandatory military service.

On September 15, WOOZI will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Army. The entrance ceremony at the training center will be held privately.
The day before his enlistment, on September 14, WOOZI was spotted in the audience at SEVENTEEN’s “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]” concert, held at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonhui-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.
Later, on a fan communication platform, he wrote:
“It was the first time I looked from the outside at the members smiling because of the music I created, together with CARATs (the fandom name). That made me really happy. Before entering the military, I’m going in with strength. I’ll come back healthy. Thank you.”
WOOZI’s enlistment is the third within the group, following JEONGHAN and WONWOO. JEONGHAN enlisted last September, and WONWOO in April of this year; both are currently serving alternative duty. HOSHI, meanwhile, is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on September 16.
For reference, SEVENTEEN, who debuted in 2015, has gained immense popularity with songs such as “Pretty U”, “Very nice”, “Don’t wanna cry”, “Hot”, and “Super.”
