The group NEWBEAT is igniting an international festival today along the Han River.
NEWBEAT (Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Riwoo) will perform on September 28 on the stage of the “ATA Festival 2025”, held at the Youth Square of Hangang Nanji Park in Seoul.
On this day, NEWBEAT will present several of its hit songs in festival-adapted versions. A set arranged as a full live group performance is also planned, raising high expectations. The members are expected to unleash explosive energy, matching the festival’s electrifying atmosphere, and lead the audience in collective singing.
Debuting last March with its first studio album “RAW AND RAD”, NEWBEAT is a seven-member boys’ band. From the start, the group drew international attention with notable initiatives such as the global launch show on Mnet, “Drop the NEWBEAT”, and the special fan showcase on SBS, “힘숨찐 해부실”.
Since their debut, NEWBEAT has performed on major stages both in Korea and abroad, such as the “2025 LOVESOME Festival”, “Opening Seoul Wonder Show of the Seoul Spring Festa”, “KCON JAPAN 2025”, “MyK FESTA”, and the “2025 Yeosu K-Mega Island Festival”, solidifying their status as 5th-generation “super rookies.”
Even before its official debut, NEWBEAT had already built solid experience through busking tours in Korea and abroad. Since then, the group has continued engaging with fans through various activities, including participation in blood donation campaigns and new busking events. With this strong foundation, NEWBEAT receives passionate audience reactions, and curiosity is high about its performance at the “ATA Festival 2025”.
The “ATA Festival 2025” successfully featured artists on September 27 such as Kim Junsu, Jannabi, Peppertones, Lee Mujin, 10cm, H1-KEY, Say My Name, and Hwang Garam. Today’s festivities continue with Kim Jae-joong, THE BOYZ, TO1, CRAVITY, Ha Sung-woon, FIFTY FIFTY, 82MAJOR, QWER, UNIS, BADVILLAIN, and NEWBEAT.
Additionally, NEWBEAT is currently preparing its next album, scheduled for release in October.
