YUGYEOM
YUGYEOM of GOT7 is enlisting today. He is the third member of the group to enlist, following JB and JINYOUNG.

YUGYEOM will begin his military service today. After completing basic training, he will serve in the Army’s military band. His agency, AOMG, previously stated:
“Since many soldiers and their families will be attending the enlistment ceremony alongside YUGYEOM, we will not be disclosing the specific time or location in order to prevent safety issues caused by overcrowding.”
Last month, YUGYEOM shared a handwritten letter to fans on his social media, in which he wrote:
“A year and a half can feel long or short depending on how you spend it, but I’ll do my best to make the time feel short by making it meaningful. I wanted to first tell our IGOT7, who have been with me for 12 years now, that I’ll be enlisting to serve our country carefully and in good health—and that I’ll do well and return safely.”
Born in 1997, YUGYEOM debuted as a member of GOT7 in 2014. In 2021, he left JYP Entertainment and signed with AOMG. Since joining AOMG, he has also been active as a solo artist. Earlier this year, he participated in GOT7’s full-group comeback, and in June, he released his second solo studio album, “INTERLUNAR”.
