The group TWS has captured fans’ hearts with a charming “love declaration operation”.
On October 11, TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin) released a new teaser on the official HYBE LABELS YouTube channel for the title track “Overdrive” from its 4th mini-album “PLAY HARD”. The video playfully shows the storyline of the music video: if a love confession fails, it restarts from zero.
The teaser follows KYUNGMIN’s narration and reveals the members’ “love declaration mission.” JIHOON, practicing a confession in front of a doll, repeats clumsy gestures and is teased by the other members. When he attempts the real confession, the tension causes him to knock over a festival structure. Ultimately, after failing, he returns to the simulation space, and KYUNGMIN explains this mechanism as a “Respawn,” introducing the rules of the operation.
At the end of the video, all six members fail their confessions one by one and return in “Respawn,” leaving fans wondering what went wrong while increasing anticipation for the full music video through TWS’s characteristic charm and appeal.
As the song “Overdrive” suggests, the track captures TWS’s overflowing emotions and intense passion for what they love. The first teaser had already showcased an energetic beat and dynamic performance, delighting fans. The members humorously and vividly explore the experience of romantic feelings, often awkward but full of joy.
Meanwhile, TWS continues to expand its activities. Last month, with the pre-release single “Head shoulders knees toes”, they demonstrated their mastery of complex choreography alongside numerous dancers, confirming their reputation as the “best performers of the 5th generation.”
They also showcased their international influence as ambassadors for the luxury brand CELINE, participating on the 5th in Paris at the CELINE ÉTÉ 2026 SHOW held in Saint-Cloud National Park. On the 10th, they performed during halftime of a friendly football match against Brazil at Seoul World Cup Stadium, highlighting their official role as ambassadors for the Korean Football Association.
