On October 23, SUNMI released a short new video on her official social media accounts announcing her comeback. Her first studio album “HEART MAID” will be released on November 5 at 18:00 KST on all music platforms.
This release comes about two months after the digital single “BLUE!”, released on August 26. In the new video, the phrases “Don’t be cynical” and “But don’t be cynical” appear on various posters placed on walls, seats, and even printed on t-shirts. These visuals evoke the style of protest posters, promoting a strong and impactful slogan.
Since her debut, SUNMI, recognized as a “concept master” and a trusted artist for musical quality, has captured attention with the announcement of her first full album.
Previously, the comeback poster revealed both a sophisticated atmosphere and a commanding presence. In the teaser, SUNMI held in one hand a sign showing the album release date “2025.11.05 6PM (KST)” with vintage-style nails, giving the impression of precariously hanging against a wall, while a cynical laugh immediately grabs attention.
In another image, the phrase “WHY SO CYNICAL?” was written in red letters, delivering a strong message to viewers of the teaser.
Throughout her career, SUNMI has released several songs such as “Gashina”, “Noir”, and “Stranger”, demonstrating her musical skills and creating her own style called “SUNMI POP“. This first studio album “HEART MAID” will gather all her experience and accumulated expertise.
