I-DLE received an honor from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the “2025 Korea Popular Culture & Arts Awards“.

The ceremony was held on October 23 at the National Theater Haeurum in Seoul, where the group was recognized for their contribution to spreading Hallyu and developing the popular culture industry. This award, one of the most prestigious government honors in arts and popular culture, highlights I-DLE’s influence as a representative K-pop group.
On behalf of the group, leader SOYEON attended the ceremony and stated:
“Even though more than half of our team consists of foreign members, receiving an award like this is extremely meaningful for us. We believe it is all thanks to our fans, and we will continue to work even harder on our music.”
Since their debut in 2018, the members of I-DLE have achieved repeated success with each of their albums, establishing themselves as a leading group in Korea and internationally. Their four recent albums, the 6th mini-album “I FEEL” (2023), the 2nd studio album “2(TWO)” (2024), “I SWAY” (July 2024), and “WE ARE” (May 2025), each surpassed one million sales in just one week, achieving four consecutive “million-seller” successes.
In parallel, their tracks such as “Tomboy”, “Nxde”, “Queencard”, and “나는 아픈 건 딱 질색이니까“ (Fate) achieved perfect all-kills on digital charts, leaving a lasting mark and setting new milestones with every album.
Following their rebranding, the latest Japanese album “I-DLE” reached number one on the daily Oricon chart and dominated international digital platforms like QQ Music in China and Apple Music in Japan, further solidifying their global presence.
