DAWN
On October 22, 2025, singer DAWN from AT AREA appeared as a guest in episodes 6 and 7 of the show TRANSIT LOVE 4. It was his first television appearance since completing his military service last July, marking his official return to the public eye.
Host LEE YONG JIN asked him, « I heard the production team had already invited you to join last season ? » To which DAWN replied with a laugh, « Back then, I wasn’t really in a situation where I could accept. » A clear reference to his highly publicized breakup with singer HYUNA, following their long and tumultuous public relationship.
When hints were made about his feelings, DAWN said, « After a breakup, I’ve never contacted the person again. Even when someone reached out to me, I never replied. So I don’t really understand the concept of “getting back together.” »
For reference, DAWN and HYUNA made their relationship public in 2016, sparking numerous controversies, particularly involving their agency. The couple appeared together on shows and openly shared photos of themselves on social media before announcing their breakup in November 2022. Although several reconciliation rumors surfaced afterward, HYUNA eventually married YONG JUN HYUNG last year, opening a new chapter in her life.
