The group CLOSE YOUR EYES (Jeon Minwook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeojun, Kim Sungmin, Song Seungho, Sakurada Kenshin, Seo Kyoungbae) has unveiled visuals worthy of a work of art.
On November 3 at 8 p.m. KST, their agency UNCORE released the concept photos for CLOSE YOUR EYES’s third mini-album, “BLACKOUT”, through its official social media channels.
The images feature close-up portraits of the members’ faces against minimalist backgrounds. The distinct features of each of the seven members immediately draw the viewer’s eye, highlighting the group’s unique and painterly beauty.
The full-screen facial shots reflect the theme of “BLACKOUT”, facing one’s inner self and surpassing personal limits, inviting viewers to focus entirely on the identity of CLOSE YOUR EYES.
The double title tracks of “BLACKOUT” are “X” and “SOB (with Imanbek).” Leader JEON MINWOOK participated in writing “X,” adding a layer of emotional and musical depth. “SOB” marks CLOSE YOUR EYES’s first-ever collaboration in K-pop with Grammy Award-winning Kazakh DJ Imanbek, known for his global hits.
On October 30, CLOSE YOUR EYES pre-released the music video for “SOB (with Imanbek),” heightening anticipation for its comeback. Four days after its release, on November 3, the video had already surpassed 2.3 million views on YouTube, demonstrating the intense international excitement for the group’s return.
The new album “BLACKOUT” by CLOSE YOUR EYES will be released on November 11 at 6 p.m. KST on all music platforms.
