IVE - JANG WON YOUNG
It’s been revealed that JANG WON YOUNG of IVE has purchased a luxury apartment in Hannam-dong entirely in cash, a move that’s drawing significant public attention.
According to real estate industry sources and the Supreme Court registry on November 12, JANG WON YOUNG acquired a 244m² unit in the LUCID HOUSE complex located in Hannam-dong, Seoul, this past March for 13.7 billion KRW (approximately €8.5 million). The property registration was completed in late October. The absence of any mortgage record indicates that the transaction was made entirely in cash.
The apartment is situated within the exclusive UN VILLAGE residential area of Hannam-dong, offering stunning views of the Han River and Namsan Mountain. The complex consists of only fifteen units spread across two buildings and is renowned for its high-level security system, including 24-hour surveillance and private elevators for residents.
Notably, the building previously housed actress KIM TAEHEE before her marriage to RAIN.
Born in 2004, JANG WON YOUNG first gained fame by taking first place on Mnet’s audition program PRODUCE 48 in 2018, debuting soon after as a member of IZ*ONE. Following the group’s disbandment, she re-debuted in IVE in 2021, achieving major success with hit tracks like “Love dive”, “I am”, and “Attitude”.
IVE, JANG WON YOUNG’s current group, recently kicked off its second world tour “SHOW WHAT I AM” at the KSPO DOME (Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena) from October 31 to November 2, marking another milestone in its global activities.
