SHINee - MINHO
MINHO showed how sincere he is in the field of sports.

MINHO shared during the press conference for the launch of SBS’s new sports entertainment “열혈농구단”, held on the morning of November 26 at the SBS headquarters in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul:
“I was happy and honored to be able to achieve what I had dreamed of since childhood. At first, my parents were worried, wondering if I would get hurt and if it would affect my work, so I told them that I wouldn’t get injured and not to worry. By participating in ‘열혈농구단’, I was able to feel, even just a little, the hearts of athletes, and it was a precious moment for which I am grateful. It became an unforgettable memory.”
Recently, MINHO had already shown immense passion for sports, notably through a triathlon and a cycling course across the country. He confessed: “To be honest, I think it’s separate from my work. When I do a sport I love, it relieves my stress and gives me energy” before continuing: “It’s separate, but I work hard in my main activity while training just as diligently. Thanks to ‘열혈농구단’, I was able to deepen my knowledge of basketball, which I already loved and knew. I invested even more sincerely in it. Basketball in entertainment has become a new passion for me,” he shared.

“열혈농구단” tells the story of the challenge to dominate Asian basketball by the “Rising Eagles (라이징이글스)”, the best basketball team in the entertainment field, selected directly by basketball legends Seo Janghoon and Jeon Taepung. Around captain MINHO (SHINee), JEONG JINWOON (2AM), JOHNNY (NCT), actor OH SEUNGHOON, PARK EUNSEOK, singer SON TAEJIN join the Rising Eagles team. Additionally, model MOON SUIN, actors KIM TAEK, LEE DAEHEE, JEONG GYUMIN, as well as the brother of the professional player PARK CHANHEE and sports commentator PARK CHANWOONG, were also selected for the team.
First broadcast on November 29 on SBS.
