NEWJEANS
The girl group NEWJEANS has ended the “NJZ” account, which had served as an independent activity channel during the conflict over its exclusive contract.

As of December 1, the “NJZ” account, through which the members of NEWJEANS shared their individual statements and communicated with fans, is no longer accessible. The disappearance of this channel, which allowed the members to directly express themselves during the contract dispute, is drawing attention.
Last February, as the conflict with their agency ADOR intensified, the group temporarily announced its name as “NJZ” and created the corresponding SNS account to share its activities.
At that time, the members used this account to directly share the new group name, their future plans and messages for fans, demonstrating their intention to carry out independent activities.
However, after October 30, when the court issued a first-instance ruling confirming the validity of the exclusive contract between NEWJEANS and ADOR, the situation began to shift.
HAERIN and HYEIN were the first to express their desire to return to ADOR, followed by MINJI, HANNI and DANIELLE, who also chose to return to the agency, effectively bringing the conflict to an end.
With the deletion of the “NJZ” account, fans are now speculating that NEWJEANS is indeed giving up its independent brand to reorganize as a group under ADOR. Fans’ reactions also express hope for a resumption of activities with the full lineup.
Meanwhile, Min Heejin, former director of ADOR who originally planned NEWJEANS, has created a separate company, Ooak Records, to pursue independent activities.
