The group NEWBEAT (Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyeon, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, Kim Riwoo) announces its first thrilling solo concert.
On January 18, 2026, at 5 p.m. KST, NEWBEAT will hold its first solo concert “DROP THE NEWBEAT” at YES24 WONDER ROCK HALL.
This concert marks a significant moment for NEWBEAT, who, from its debut in March to its recent comeback activities, will meet its fans. The group will look back on their journey and create new memories with the fans who have enthusiastically supported them. The anticipation for this first solo concert, presented for the very first time by NEWBEAT, is at its peak.
Since its debut, NEWBEAT has undertaken a large-scale project, announcing the emergence of a “5th generation super rookie”. In March, the group officially debuted in the music industry with the release of its first studio album “RAW AND RAD” and met its fans through the MNET GLOBAL DEBUT SHOW and the SBS DEBUT FAN SHOWCASE. They subsequently performed at major festivals in Korea and internationally, such as “2025 LOVE SOME FESTIVAL”, “KCON JAPAN 2025”, and “KCON LA 2025”, consolidating its stage experience.
On November 6, NEWBEAT released its first mini-album “LOUDER THAN EVER”, produced with renowned international producers, highlighting the double title tracks “Look so good” and “Loud” and leading a series of intense activities. Notably, “Look so good” ranked in the top iTunes charts in 7 countries upon release, reaching first place in the Kpop genre, second in the Pop genre, and fifth overall on the U.S. iTunes music video chart.
With remarkable results on global charts, NEWBEAT also entered the TOP 100 of the weekly popular ranking on YOUTUBE MUSIC KOREA for the first time, at 81st place. Building on this success, the group recently won the Best New Talent award at the 17th SEOUL SUCCESS AWARDS 2025.
