The leader of BTS, RM drew the attention of ARMY worldwide (fandom) with a post called “ramen meeting.”

On December 10, RM uploaded on his social media account (SNS) a post confirming his meeting with JUNGKOOK. In this post, RM included a photo of boiled ramen in a pot and tagged JUNGKOOK’s account. In response, JUNGKOOK shared the post on his own account.
Previously, RM had revealed his feelings regarding the delayed comeback of BTS during a live on Weverse held on the 6th. During this process, RM mentioned “I thought tens of thousands of times that ‘maybe stopping would be better,’ ‘maybe pausing the team would be better,’” surprising fans. RM added “But if we continue as a team, it is because there is love between us, and because there is love and respect for you,” but his confession caused concern among fans who were waiting for the full-group comeback.
RM’s live also drew attention because it took place while JUNGKOOK remained silent after being involved on the 5th in a dating rumor with WINTER of the girl group Aespa. In this context, RM also said “(Even though I am the leader) I can no longer represent the team. Each member is an individual, with their own boundaries and way of life,” a remark full of meaning.

Finally, RM posted a message on Weverse two days later, on the 8th, apologizing with “I think I tired ARMY with the live, I am sorry.” RM explained “I received many worried messages. I was just overtaken by my feeling of suffocation. I am sorry. Just look at me a little kindly.” In this situation, RM’s post on the “ramen meeting” is interpreted as an attempt to ease fans’ ongoing concerns.
Meanwhile, BTS has completed its “military service period” since all members finished their obligations on June 6. However, contrary to expectations of a comeback this year, they have set the release of the new album for next spring.
