MIMI from OH MY GIRL was named “Popular Star of the Year chosen by viewers.”
On Dec. 9, MIMI received the “2025 Popular Star of the Year chosen by viewers” award for her participation in “Pyong Pyong Earth Arcade 3″ at the “30th KCA Culture & Entertainment Awards for Consumer Day”, held at the Korea Science and Technology Center (ST Center) in Gangnam, Seoul.
The “30th KCA Culture & Entertainment Awards for Consumer Day” highlights awardees who contributed to the development of popular culture and the improvement of consumer satisfaction over the year, in commemoration of Consumer Day (Dec. 3), an official day aimed at raising awareness of consumer rights and protection. The ceremony is organized by the Korean Consumer Association and supervised by KCA Korea Consumer Evaluation.
Since the launch of “Pyong Pyong Earth Arcade 3“ in 2022 through its third season this year, MIMI has established herself as a key figure in variety shows. She later won the “New Female Variety Artist” award at the “4th Blue Dragon Series Awards” for her participation in “Kian CEO” on ENA·STUDIO X+U. She has also shined in programs such as “Sixth Sense: City Tour” on tvN, “Heart Pairing“ on Channel A, “Half-star Hotel in Lost Island” on MBC, and “The Ballad of Us” on SBS, solidifying her on-screen presence.
This award, determined by viewer votes, is particularly meaningful as it confirms MIMI is recognized not only as a promising variety talent but also as a beloved host.
After her win, MIMI said:
