APINK group member BOMI and composer RADO will get married next year after nine years of relationship.
The announcement was made this Thursday through a statement from APINK’s agency, WITH US ENTERTAINMENT, asking fans “to send warm support to the couple as they begin a new chapter of their lives”.
BOMI also shared the news directly with fans through a handwritten letter published the same day on APINK’s official fan community.
“I decided to share my future with someone who has stayed by my side for a long time, sharing everyday life through moments of joy as well as uncertainty,” she wrote.
She added that she would continue to live “with a strong sense of responsibility” and promised to repay fans “with even better activities, both as a member of APINK and as BOMI”.
BOMI and RADO have been in a relationship since 2017.
RADO is best known as the main producer of the group STAYC and has created hit songs for other K-pop artists, including TWICE and CHUNG HA. He has also collaborated with APINK, notably composing “Only one” in 2016 and “Hush” in 2012.
APINK is scheduled to release its 11th EP album “RE: LOVE” on January 5 next year to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its debut.
