The “dreaming youth band” CATCH THE YOUNG joins the emotional programming of this winter.

CATCH THE YOUNG (Sani, Jungmo, Kihoon, Namhyun, Junyong) confirmed the release of the remake single “FOOTSTEPS (발걸음)” on December 20.
“Footsteps” was originally a track by EMERALD CASTLE, released in 1997, a rock ballad that contains the emotions of separation, lingering regrets, and the excitement of a new beginning. Covered by numerous artists and regularly recalled by the public over time, attention is focused on how CATCH THE YOUNG will bring its own interpretation and emotional color to the song.

CATCH THE YOUNG reorganized the sound so that it naturally absorbs contemporary sensibilities while respecting the emotion and atmosphere of the original version. The guitar solo, in particular, received meticulous care to recreate the texture and tone characteristic of the time, while the bass line steadily supports the flow and mood of the track without excessive movements, adding depth to the song. The vocal parts also focus on an expression balance that preserves the identity of the original while revealing CATCH THE YOUNG’s own color.
Alongside the announcement of the new track “Footsteps”, CATCH THE YOUNG will continue its intense winter activities by holding a solo concert titled “THE REAL PROUD : Rolling 31st Anniversary Concert” on January 16 at Rolling Hall in Hongdae.
In addition, CATCH THE YOUNG is currently preparing a full studio album entirely composed of its own music, scheduled for release early next year. Anticipation is growing regarding how the remake single “FOOTSTEPS”, releasing on the 20th, will open the next chapter for CATCH THE YOUNG.
