BTS will make its comeback with a studio album on March 20.

The group announced the release of its 5th studio album at midnight KST on January 5 via the global superfan platform Weverse. The new album will be released on March 20 at 1 p.m. KST. This marks their first full-group album since the anthology album “PROOF”, released in June 2022, after 3 years and 9 months. As a studio album, it is also a highly anticipated return, coming 6 years and 1 month after “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7”, unveiled in February 2020.
The new release will consist of 14 tracks. Staying true to their identity, BTS once again sought to express their thoughts through music, focusing on what “today’s BTS” represents. The members concentrated on the album’s production during the second half of 2025, sharing and incorporating their personal reflections in order to collectively define the album’s artistic direction.
Each track is infused with the emotions and questions accumulated throughout their journey, while also conveying their deep gratitude toward the ARMYs, the fans who patiently waited for the group’s full return. Taken as a whole, the album serves both as the story of BTS and as a message addressed to those who have remained by their side without wavering.
BTS also announced that official information regarding the dates of their world tour will be released on the 14th at midnight, further heightening interest in their upcoming activities. This will be their first large-scale tour since “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE”, which concluded in April 2022 in Las Vegas, nearly four years ago. Even the announcement of the album release date and tour has already drawn massive attention from music fans around the world.
Meanwhile, as part of their comeback promotions, BTS has launched a new official website. Information related to the new album and the world tour will be updated there progressively.
