Artist and producer ZICO has unveiled a new collaborative track with CRUSH.
On January 8 at 8:40 PM KST, a video for ZICO and CRUSH’s new song “Yin and yang” was released on Mnet’s official YouTube channel. Shot in black and white, the video highlights the free-spirited atmosphere and the strong charismatic aura of the two musicians. Their perfectly controlled rap with dynamic rhythm changes, along with a performance delivered alongside dozens of dancers, immediately captures attention.
“Yin and yang” is a track jointly produced by ZICO and CRUSH, who are part of the same producer team on Mnet’s program “Show Me The Money 12.” The song naturally harmonizes their respective styles. Through the lyrics, they express a mindset of remaining composed even in the midst of harsh reality, reflecting the coexistence of light and shadow. Short, punchy phrases such as “Burn Lights / Dark Side / We got the Yin and Yang” flow continuously, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of freestyle rap. The powerful beat, deep rap delivery, and soft vocals further enrich the listening experience.
Meanwhile, anticipation is high for ZICO’s performances on “Show Me The Money 12.” He previously participated as a producer in seasons 4 and 6 of the show, leading his contestants to second place and then to overall victory, respectively, proving his outstanding production skills.
