Singer AOORA is releasing a new song infused with Indian culture.

Today (the 10th) at noon KST, AOORA’s new track “Shiva Shivam (Tandava)” will be released on various online music platforms. The song is inspired by ancient Sanskrit chants praising the Hindu god Shiva and combines traditional Indian mantras with modern EDM sounds to offer an intense immersive experience.
“Shiva Shivam (Tandava)” musically expresses the symbolism of Shiva’s cosmic dance, the Tandava, long transmitted in Indian culture. It illustrates the energy of the Tandava, where destruction and creation, chaos and calm coexist, through a trance-based rhythm and performance-centered structure.
Talented producer FRIDAYYY participated in this project to refine its quality. With sophisticated arrangements and powerful sound design, the Sanskrit mantras and English lyrics are harmoniously integrated, creating a unique message where tradition and modernity coexist.
On the release day, AOORA will hold a private screening in Mumbai, India, to celebrate the song’s launch, targeting the local market. The event will gather numerous local celebrities, including Manara Chopra and Pratik, as well as religious representatives, media, and influencers, who will experience AOORA’s sensory music firsthand.
Regarding this new track, AOORA stated:
“The process of conveying the meaning of Shiva through music and performance was a great challenge and a moment of growth. I hope listeners experience it not just as a simple EDM track, but as an energetic experience.”
Meanwhile, after the release of the music video for “Shiva Shivam (Tandava)”, AOORA will continue his activities with short-form content, DJ sets, and is also preparing concerts and a tour focused on India and Nepal.
