As news broke that CHANCELLOR, a member of the production team DOUBLE SIDEKICK and a singer, had been arrested in Japan on charges of drug possession, his agency is currently verifying the facts.

On February 24, a representative from XGLAX stated: “We are currently verifying the relevant information”.
Previously, the day before, a media outlet reported that CHANCELLOR had been caught in the act by the metropolitan police along with three acquaintances in a hotel room located in the city of Nagoya, Japan, early in the morning of the same day, for violation of the narcotics control law.
CHANCELLOR is a person who, as a singer, participated in the production of albums by YUJU and KANG DANIEL. He was also selected as the first Korean vocalist for the American Grammy Awards series “Reimagined”.
In particular, while news had been announced of the urgent arrest in Japan of SIMON, a former member of the boy group DALMATIAN and producer of the Japanese girl group XG, on charges of drug possession, it was reported that one of the people arrested on site with him was CHANCELLOR. The two are currently working within XGLAX.
It was also reported that two employees of the major Japanese entertainment agency AVEX present with them were also arrested.
