The unit of the group SEVENTEEN, DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN “메보즈”, will perform for the first time since their debut on the stage of the “SEOUL JAZZ FESTIVAL”.
On February 24, according to the agency PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT of HYBE MUSIC GROUP, DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN will appear on the first day of the “THE 18TH SEOUL JAZZ FESTIVAL 2026” (hereafter 서재페), which will be held from May 22 to 24 in the Olympic Park area of Songpa-gu in Seoul.
The “SEOUL JAZZ FESTIVAL” is one of Korea’s representative music festivals, launched in 2007. Each year, artists from various genres, including jazz, pop, and indie rock, perform there, attracting tens of thousands of spectators. DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN will take the stage and showcase their live artist side.
A solo concert is also planned. DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN will hold “DXS [소야곡] ON STAGE – INCHEON” at the Inspire Arena in Incheon from April 17 to 19, before their participation in 서재페. This will be an opportunity to experience live the emotional storytelling of their first mini-album “소야곡”, released last January. The concert will continue in Chiba, Daegu, Macao, and Kaohsiung.
Since the release of “소야곡”, DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN have dominated major national and international charts with the track “Blue”, establishing themselves as a “traditional K-pop vocal duo”. The song reached first place on YouTube Korea’s “music trends” chart, and also topped Spotify’s “Daily Viral Song” chart (as of January 26) in Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia, achieving exceptional performance for a traditional ballad.
Content confirming the excellent vocal abilities of the two artists has also made a splash. DOKYEOM X SEUNGKWAN delivered flawless live performances on DINGO MUSIC’s YouTube “ISUL LIVE 2” and on 1THEK LIVE’s “RECORD DELIVERY”, proving the reputation of ‘메보즈’. They will appear on JTBC’s “BEGIN AGAIN OPEN MIC”, airing on the 2nd of next month, and will take on the challenge of busking.
