The singer CHOI YENA is making her return to the music industry after about eight months.
According to her agency YH ENTERTAINMENT, CHOI YENA will release her fifth mini-album “LOVE CATCHER” on March 11 at 18:00 KST and will begin full-scale activities.
The concept photos partially revealed with the comeback announcement immediately drew fans’ attention. In the images, CHOI YENA, wearing a brown dress and letting her long blonde hair fall naturally, looks straight ahead against a wooden background, exuding an atmosphere both calm and deeper.
In a space where a living room and staircase are visible, the shots where she takes various poses, along with sensory setups using oranges, present an atmosphere different from her usually bubbly image. In particular, a scene where she is lying on the floor, slightly covering her lips with her hand with an orange in the background, as well as a pose where she lifts her legs in a space combining a floral-patterned sofa and yellow curtains, highlight a mature and refined charm.
In another version of the teaser photos, she appears with a retro haircut, a short dress, and bright yellow tights, holding a cup of tea on her garden terrace reminiscent of 1960s TV film scenes and the “Mod” and “Pop Art” movements where all the codes appear. Suddenly, in the background, the house explodes. Did she plan this explosion? On the photo, she does not seem disturbed by it.
With “LOVE CATCHER”, CHOI YENA plans to present a musical color different from her previous work as well as an even deeper sensibility. She intends to continue building momentum for her comeback by gradually releasing various teaser content until the release.
