Singer ROSÉ lifted a trophy at “THE BRIT AWARDS 2026”.

ROSÉ won the “International Song of the Year” award with the duo “Apt.” with BRUNO MARS at the 46th edition of “THE BRIT AWARDS 2026”, held on the 28th (local time) in Manchester, UK, setting another first record for K-pop.
Launched in 1977, “THE BRIT AWARDS 2026” is a music ceremony organized by the British Phonographic Industry, and winners are selected by a panel of over 1,000 people including broadcasting professionals, music industry members, and journalists. ROSÉ proved her presence by becoming the first K-pop artist to be nominated both as a group member and as a soloist, and then to win an award.
Ascending the stage to receive her prize, ROSÉ said:
“It’s an honor to receive an award in front of talented musicians” and added, “I thank BRUNO MARS, the members of BLACKPINK, producer TEDDY, and everyone involved.”
“Apt.” has continued to achieve consistent results on global charts since its release in October 2024. The song won a major category at the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS, a first for a K-pop artist, and further expanded its influence by being nominated for Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the GRAMMY AWARDS.
It also reached the number one spot on the global singles chart published by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), adding another record for a K-pop artist.
Additionally, BLACKPINK, of which ROSÉ is a member, recently released their third mini-album “DEADLINE” and resumed full activities after 3 years and 5 months.
