Member YOO TAE YANG of SF9 spent a precious day as a gift with his fans.
YOO TAE YANG held the fanmeeting “2026 SF9 YOO TAE YANG ‘THE ROOM : 함께’” on February 28 at 3 PM and 7 PM KST, for a total of two sessions, at the grand auditorium of the Unjeong Green campus of Sungshin Women’s University. This solo fanmeeting was all the more special as it took place on his birthday, just before his military enlistment scheduled for March 3.
That day, YOO TAE YANG opened the performance by singing “Reality”, OST from the movie “La Boum”, with a soft voice. After the song, he exchanged glances with fans while showing a bright smile, sparking excitement, and said, “I wanted to convey my feelings through the lyrics,” revealing the reason for choosing the opening song.
The fanmeeting was composed of different sections around the theme “ROOM.” In the first section, “Play ROOM”, he checked the “TOP 4 covers of YOO TAE YANG that fans want to hear again,” voted directly by fans, and personally sang all the ranked songs, fully raising the atmosphere. He also shared close communication through a telepathy game and showed special affection for his fans by actively participating in various dance challenges.
In the second section, “FANTASY ROOM”, a birthday celebration for YOO TAE YANG was held. Fans conveyed their congratulations through songs and letters, and he radiated warm charm by taking time for photos with various props and poses.
The fanmeeting maximized immersion with a live band, reminiscent of a mini-concert. YOO TAE YANG perfectly performed group-arranged versions of SF9’s “Melodrama” and “Don’t worry, be happy”, demonstrating his skills, and received an explosive response with a varied stage including covers and even previously unreleased self-composed songs.
Notably, during the second session, SF9 members YOUGBIN, INSEONG, JAEYOON, and HWIYOUNG appeared as special guests, showing remarkable loyalty. A joint performance full of affectionate sincerity and spirited conversations offered both emotion and entertainment.
At the end of the fanmeeting, YOO TAE YANG shared his affectionate impressions, stating:
“I will not forget the memories of this room today. I will miss you. Thank you for letting me spend my birthday with you and create good memories.”
Filling approximately 120 minutes of fanmeeting, YOO TAE YANG even held a “hi-bye” event after the encore stage, greeting each fan individually and completing a warm moment until the very end.
