ZEROBASEONE
The journey of the nine members, who started from zero to be born as one, has come to an end. The time spent together will remain engraved as a magnificent and sparkling memory in the minds of fans for a long time.
ZEROBASEONE held its encore concert “2026 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR ‘HERE&NOW’ ENCORE” for three days, from the 13th to the 15th, at the KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu Olympic Park, Seoul.
Following this concert, ZEROBASEONE will move to a 5-member formation to begin the second act of its activities. SUNG HAN BIN, KIM JI WOONG, SEOK MATTHEW, KIM TAE RAE, and PARK GUN WOOK will pursue this new season together, while ZHANG HAO, RICKY, KIM GYU VIN, and HAN YU JIN will return to their respective agencies to prepare for a new start.
On that day, ZEROBASEONE opened the show with “Here i am“. They then completed a spectacular opening with “Take my hand“, “Crush”, “Sweat”, and “Kill the romeo“.
After the opening, KIM JI WOONG took the floor:
« We started with “Here I am”, and I thought back a lot to our training sessions. Every time I sing this track, I think of “BOYS PLANET”. I am so happy today. It feels like I’m rediscovering the sensations of our very beginnings, it’s even more fun. »
KIM GYU VIN confided: « The tour started here at the KSPO DOME, and coming back for this encore concert touches me deeply. It’s thanks to all the energy received here that we were able to finish the tour well and return. » SEOK MATTHEW added with a smile: « The KSPO DOME is like our hometown. Let’s create memories together today that will be engraved for a lifetime. »
Then, with VCR videos rich in entertainment, such as a parody of “EXCHANGE” specific to the group or conceptual advertisements reinterpreting ZEROBASEONE songs, they offered various pleasures beyond the stage. They followed up with sparkling and bright titles such as “Roses”, “Insomnia”, “Goosebumps”, “Good so bad“, and “Feel the pop“, moving closer to the ZEROSE (fandom name) on the extended stage to commune with them.
SUNG HAN BIN joked: « We got closer to the ZEROSE, how was it? Are we handsome? ». HAN YU JIN said: « Did you like the VCR? It was a video that allowed us to retrace all our activities. I would like to see the ice cream advertisement for the “MELTING POINT” team once more ». PARK GUN WOOK and SEOK MATTHEW then improvised the said advertisement again, triggering cheers from the fans.
The rest of the show gave way to unit stages. KIM GYU VIN, KIM JI WOONG, and ZHANG HAO performed “Out of love”; HAN YU JIN, PARK GUN WOOK, and RICKY performed “Step back“; while KIM TAE RAE, SEOK MATTHEW, and SUNG HAN BIN showed a different charm with “Cruel”.
They also filled the stage with performances of “Doctor! doctor!“, “Lovesick game“, “Devil game“, “Melting point“, “Now or never“, and “Yura yura”. PARK GUN WOOK shared his thoughts:
« It’s thanks to the love of ZEROSE that we were able to get this far. Fortunately, the setlist is filled with songs that have received a lot of love. If we can fill the stage with so many titles, it’s thanks to you. Thank you so much. »
A special stage, reserved only for the encore concert, had been prepared. Fans waved their lightsticks while discovering for the first time the performance of “Lovepocalypse”. The concert ended with the encores “Iconik”, “Blue”, “In bloom”, and “Not alone“.
To this show offered by ZEROBASEONE as a gift, the ZEROSE responded with fervor. As it was the last concert as nine, a special event had been prepared by the fans. They sang “Hello” by ZEROBASEONE in unison while brandishing banners bearing the inscription: « Tomorrow too, I will recognize you, like now ». Here and there, fans in tears shouted: « Let’s be eternal, ZEROBASEONE » or « I will always love you ».
After the show, the members shared deep emotion by looking back on their journey of 2 years and 6 months. As it was the last concert as nine, the members delivered sincere testimonies, often in tears.
RICKY stated: « I can’t believe it’s the last moment, I don’t want us to separate. I sincerely love the fans and the members. Wherever I go, the fact that I am “RICKY of ZEROBASEONE” will never change. » KIM TAE RAE confided: « It is a great sadness to no longer be able to be with the members who are like my family. I will remember these sparkling moments spent together all my life. »
SUNG HAN BIN left a letter to the fans and the members: « I have been so happy and grateful to be able to create so many memories since our debut. Thanks to the love of ZEROSE, I was able to hold on through the difficult times. » To the members, he said: « As a leader, there were complicated moments, but I was able to hold on because you were always by my side. I learned to lean on someone and I discovered human warmth. I hope each of you will walk on a path strewn with flowers without getting hurt. »
ZHANG HAO confessed: « It is difficult to accept the separation, and I am afraid of no longer having anyone to count on. But I will cherish this youth spent with the fans and let’s continue to write our story in the future. » SEOK MATTHEW added: « It’s the small everyday moments with the members that I will miss the most. ZEROBASEONE is for life. ZEROSE, don’t worry, I love you. »
KIM JI WOONG stated: « The separation seems so cruel. From now on, we will become stars shining in our own skies. » KIM GYU VIN concluded: « If a team starting from zero was able to receive so much love, it’s thanks to the fans. The time spent as ZEROBASEONE was the brightest moment of my life. »
Finally, the members made their last goodbyes as close as possible to the fans on “Running to future“. Although the journey as nine stops here, expectations are high for the new start of the members and the stories that will unfold on their respective paths.
ZEROBASEONE had debuted in July 2023 via the MNET show “BOYS PLANET”. The concert “2026 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR ‘HERE&NOW’ ENCORE” is their last performance as nine members.
