The singer ILHOON announced the news of the release of his single by revealing the teasing video of the single “MERRY GO ROUND” produced with the producer PATEKO and the artist MEENOI.
The published video includes a part of the sound source of the song’s introduction as well as visual elements representing a carousel. This new song is the result of the project “RGB SGNL” promoted by CARPENTERS ART REPUBLIC, and plans to pursue genre-blending attempts by collaborating with several musicians, with ILHOON at the head.
The overall production, such as the composition and the arrangement, was handled by PATEKO, while MEENOI added her voice by participating in the featuring. The three workers explained having attempted a new musical form through a joint work and having projected in the song the emotions felt at the stage of the beginning of a relationship.
The side of ILHOON stated that this song became an occasion to expand the musical field thanks to the collaboration between artists and hopes that the listeners will sufficiently receive the atmosphere of the song.
“MERRY GO ROUND” is expected to be published on March 26 at 6 p.m. KST via various online music sites.
