HYBE INDIA announced the holding of a large-scale audition “HYBE INDIA AUDITION” via its official social media on March 24. In-person auditions will be held not only online but also in major cities of India such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Mumbai and Pune.
HYBE INDIA stated:

The global system of HYBE and the creative energy of local experts from India will combine to create a positive synergy.”
Attention is focused on the question of whether the multi-home, multi-genre strategy of HYBE, led by chairman BANG SI-HYUK, will shine once again in India through this audition. India is the most populous country in the world with a population of more than 1.4 billion inhabitants and an overwhelming cultural diversity. The average age of the Indian population is about 28 years old (according to the “2023 WORLD POPULATION STATUS REPORT”), which is very young, and is evaluated as ideal for the application of the K-pop production system. The fact that the growth rate of the digital music market is rapid is also an attractive element for the expansion of entertainment activities.
HYBE INDIA aims to establish itself as a cultural hub of South Asia by maximizing this potential of India. It aims to dominate the market by applying locally the 360-degree music industry capabilities of HYBE (talent discovery, production, marketing, shows). In the long term, the global standardization of the K-pop methodology and the diversification of HYBE‘s IPs are expected to gain even more ground.
HYBE proved the possibility of success of the K-pop methodology with &TEAM in Japan, KATSEYE in the United States and SANTOS BRAVOS in Latin America.
