DONGHAE‘s first full-length album, “ALIVE“, which will be unveiled this April 20 at 6 p.m. KST on various music sites, is the result of capturing the most brilliant moments and his sincere heart during his long journey. Like the album title, music full of vitality that makes one feel “alive” has been woven into a single narrative, and DONGHAE participated in the writing and composition of 11 of the 13 songs, thus synthesizing his solid experience as a singer-songwriter.
The title song “해 떴네” is a track that links the image of the rising sun to the symbolism of the name “DONGHAE”, forcefully expressing an energy and confidence that never stops over a Brazilian funk-style synth base.
The other title song, “Good day”, is a warm and bright gospel-based pop track. The voices full of personality of JAY PARK and 1IL, as well as the rich sound of a choir, harmonize to gently deploy the feelings of hope and positivity that DONGHAE wishes to transmit through this album.
