T:EV
When the city falls asleep, T:EV awakens to conquer the K-pop scene!
This past May 5, the group T:EV (Together : Forever) made a strong impression with the release of the music video for their track “5 AM“. This song, which also serves as the spearhead for their debut in the Japanese market, plunges us into a sophisticated nocturnal atmosphere. The MV features the members in millimetric choreographies, oscillating between minimalist white sets and more intense glowing red environments, perfectly symbolizing that pivotal hour when night gives way to dawn.
The group T:EV is not made of novices. The quartet is formed of four members who already have solid experience in the industry, all being former members of the group AQA. Here is an overview of the team:
-
BONGGEUN (Kang Bong Geun): Born in 1996, he holds the positions of vocalist and dancer. His on-screen charisma brings a welcome maturity to the group.
-
USEONG (Kim Yu Seong): Born in 1997, this vocalist and dancer passed through busking groups (InnerS) and training groups (Just COLOR) before shining with T:EV.
-
TAEYEONG (Lee Tae Yeong): Born in 1998, he is known for his versatility in singing and dancing. An anime and video game enthusiast, he speaks fluent Japanese—a major asset for their current promotion.
-
GYURAE: The latest member to join the adventure in December 2025. His arrival officially transformed T:EV into a quartet, bringing a new visual and vocal dynamic that is fully discovered in “5 AM“.
The track “5 AM“ expresses the group’s determination to never stop, even when others are sleeping. The lyrics evoke constant effort and a self-confidence that grows through the dark hours to finally shine in the morning. Musically, the track is driven by a catchy tempo and powerful vocals that confirm the group’s “Together Forever” identity.
After leaving their initial agency (Startree Entertainment) in early 2025, this return as independents (or under a new structure) shows a steely will to stay connected to their community. You can follow their behind-the-scenes and daily news on their official Instagram account: @t.ev_official.
In summary, with “5 AM“, T:EV proves that their story is only just beginning and invites fans to follow them into this promising new era between Korea and Japan!
