The group STRAY KIDS added a 20th 100-million-view music video to their overall track record.
On May 20, the agency JYP ENTERTAINMENT stated: “The music video for “Walkin on water”, title track of “SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’” released by STRAY KIDS on December 13, 2024, exceeded 100 million cumulative views on YouTube in the afternoon of last May 19.”
Thanks to this, STRAY KIDS finds themselves adding the 20th 100-million-view video in the history of the group. They possess a total of 20 music videos having reached the hundred million views, among which are “God’s menu”, “Back door”, “Miroh”, “Thunderous”, “Maniac”, and “Hellevator”. This is the highest ownership record among 4th generation boy groups in K-pop, thus renewing their own historic record once again.
STRAY KIDS has already recorded 1st place for 6 consecutive weeks on the main American Billboard album chart, the “Billboard 200”, with “合 (HOP)” where “Walkin on water” appears.
STRAY KIDS plans to deploy as a headliner of the American music festival in New York “The Governors Ball Music Festival” and the Brazilian festival “Rock in Rio”.
