The group ONF announces an even deeper story.
Their agency stated on May 21: “Today, ONF released the trailer video for its second studio album Part.2, “ONF:MY SELF”, on its official social media channels.”
The video opens in a dark space where a butterfly circles a blinking light. Sequences follow, showing black silhouettes wandering through unreal settings or walking toward bright areas, creating a deep atmosphere. Furthermore, the heart that had appeared in the coming soon video shows itself again, raising curiosity around this new work.
Last year, through the first part of their second studio album, “ONF: MY IDENTITY”, the members stepped into the shoes of travelers chasing their dreams to transmit hope and the strength to move forward to those plunged into darkness. In this new trailer, a voiceover declares: “Having reached the end of the light, still worry as before, feel anxious as before, carrying pain as before, and continue moving forward.” Attention is therefore focused on the story they are preparing to unfold in this Part.2, “ONF:MY SELF”.
At the beginning of this year, ONF signed an exclusive contract with the new agency KI Entertainment.
At the time, the group had announced: “We plan to participate directly in the entirety of the production, right from the design stage of this new album.”
They then displayed great confidence in their new project during their fan meeting “Re:Connect” last month, raising the public’s expectations for this record by a notch.
Since their debut in 2017, ONF has forged a unique musical universe thanks to intense performances and original tracks such as “We must love”, “Beautiful beautiful” or even “Moscow moscow”.
By chaining several successes, the group consolidated their position in the industry, inheriting flattering nicknames like “the kings of masterpieces” or “ONF, the trusted group to listen to with your eyes closed”. This return comes about 7 months after the release of their ninth mini-album “UNBROKEN” last November, reinforcing the excitement of the fans.
The second studio album Part.2 of ONF, “ONF:MY SELF”, will be available on all music streaming platforms on June 17 at 6 p.m. KST.
