The group MAMAMOO returns with all members present after 3 years and 8 months.
MAMAMOO has started its real comeback countdown by publishing the scheduler for its special single “4WARD” via its official SNS on May 21.
The revealed scheduler image showed a solid cohesion by placing four empty chairs side by side, within a sophisticated mood reminiscent of a fashion magazine cover. To this was added the phrase “FOUR AS ONE. MOVING 4WARD”, announcing that the four members are gathering again to form a whole and move forward toward a new chapter.
“4WARD” is a portmanteau word combining the number “4” which symbolizes the four members and “FORWARD” which means to move ahead, thus signifying the new journey that MAMAMOO will write together. More than anything, as this comeback marks the full-group activity of MAMAMOO after about 3 years and 8 months since “MIC ON” released in October 2022, a burning interest from fans is pouring in. Attention is focused on the synergy that will be shown by the four members, who have proven their presence in their respective fields through their solo activities.
MAMAMOO’s special single “4WARD” will be released this coming June 4 at 6 PM KST through various online music sites. Following this, MAMAMOO will open wide the doors of its world tour at the Olympic Hall of the Olympic Park in the Songpa District in Seoul, from June 19 to 21.
