SANTOS BRAVOS
The group SANTOS BRAVOS has once again clinched a trophy during a major Latin award ceremony.

SANTOS BRAVOS received the “Best Group/Duo” award, selected by fan vote, during the “Premios Tu Música Urbano Mix 2026” which took place on June 4 (local time) at the “Coca-Cola Music Hall” in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The “Premios Tu Música Urbano” are an award ceremony that highlights Latin music, cultural achievements, and the influence exerted on the entire industry. Its authority is recognized in the music world, and this year, the word “Mix” was added to the name of the ceremony to reflect the current era where boundaries between genres are blurring.
This award adds a special significance insofar as it is an accomplishment achieved at the epicenter of innovation that guides the global Latin music market. Puerto Rico, the birthplace of reggaeton which is one of the genres of Latin music, is indeed a geopolitically advantageous anchor point to penetrate the largest pop market in the world.
During the ceremony of this day, SANTOS BRAVOS was called as the winner of the “Best Group/Duo” award and received great applause. The members rejoiced by embracing each other and shared their emotion by declaring: “We still cannot believe it. Thank you so much to the fans.”
During the show, they performed successively “Velocidade”, the title song of their first EP album “DUAL”, and “Kawasaki”, a song nominated in the song of the year category. They received a warm response from the audience thanks to the performance full of energy unique to SANTOS BRAVOS, intense Latin rhythms, and a relaxed stage attitude.
SANTOS BRAVOS is a five-member group (Drew, Alejandro, Gabi, Kauê, Kenneth) that debuted in October of last year under HYBE Latin America according to the K-pop methodology and the “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy led by Chairman BANG SI HYUK. Less than a year after their debut, they have increased their presence by performing on major stages in the Latin world, such as the “Empire Music Festival” in Guatemala and the “Tecate Emblema” in Mexico.
In addition, last May, they won the “Breakthrough Podcast” category during the “Spotify Podcast Awards” which took place at the “Auditorio BB” in Mexico City, attracting attention as next-generation Latin pop stars.
In reality, global superstars such as DADDY YANKEE and BAD BUNNY, who have dominated global charts including Billboard, are from Puerto Rico, and they benefit from the powerful support of the diaspora (the Puerto Rican community) within the United States.
